It’s the simplest, most delicate and nutritious breakfast meal/recipe that you can enjoy on a busy working day. Prepare ahead (overnight oats), or just simply microwave a bowl of oats and milk or water for couple of minutes and you are good to go. Stir in your favourite condiments (cinnamon is probably the best choice) and top with anything you fancy, from fruits to nuts.
The bigger the bowl the better
Oats are among those products that transform your appetite, your mood and make you feel great on a day start. This is simply because of their ability to a slow carbohydrate digestion and with the increased nutrient absorption rate.
However, you need to take it easy on the serving portion (90-100g cooked), since an overwhelming portion size can result to a bloated stomach.
*Keep in mind though that fiber needs water to keep the digestion on going. So stay hydrated even after you eat your oatmeal bowl.
