Many people out there are not so interested when it comes to breakfast. Me, as a genuine foodie and a breakfast lover, i was astonished when i first tried this simple recipe that you will love; guaranteed. It will fill you up, keep you energised and most importantly, give you that healthy morning vibe that you need and not the gloomy, all boring morning heavy stomach ache.
Oats
These cereal grains that are in abundance in every supermarket, can become your nutritious friend on a daily basis. Consumed regularly, and they will boost your chances of lowering your blood cholesterol level, while increasing your fiber and protein intake and several B vitamins.
Milk
This recipe calls for milk. I know some of you may not be eating your oats with milk, but that’s why we are here. To give you some alternative new ideas on how to implement ingredients that may not have been on your mindfocus yet. So, long story short, milk will give you that extra rich flavour and texture that you indulge for. A creamy consistency and a sublime taste. Period.
Nuts – Seeds
Just go crazy. Make it your own version. This recipe is not overwhelmed with nuts and seeds. Just the regular; pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and a sprinkle of desiccated coconut.
Fruits
Again you can use any fruit you like. Either banana, strawberries, berries, kiwi; literally anything. Here we go with a fresh nectarine that’s so flippin delicious that i ate the other half while photoshooting!
Peanutbutter
Totally optional. But totally out of this world. Especially when mixed with the richness of the oatmeal, it becomes extra velvety, extra tasty, extra creamy, and an extra reason to include it on.
